  I am so happy I found this place looking for a salon that does perms. Many trendy salons don't do perm at all, so I was really lucky to find Hoa. She can do magic with her hands. I highly recommend her if you want to become curly :-)

  I found Straight and Curl Salon through a simple Google search and booked myself an impulse haircut appointment. And I'm so glad I did! It was very last minute and fortunately Hoa was able to book me in the next day at a time slot that worked perfectly for me (although, I highly recommend to book your appointment ahead of time). I only showed her a picture of the haircut I wanted and she executed it beautifully! I was very anxious cutting my long hair short but she made me feel at ease. Whilst having a chat with her I could feel her love and passion for her profession. And the high care and value she regards her customers. I highly recommend Straight and Curl Salon and Hoa herself! I will definitely be coming back 😊

  Hoa is simply awesome! I had my hair permed and she ordered in some accessories that I needed. She really takes time to chat and understand my needs and provides useful advice. She is meticulous and delicate. I feel that she loves what she does and that she cares about her clients’ satisfaction. On top of that, she is super friendly! Her small hair salon is a hidden gem in the busy downtown Vancouver.

  After a couple years of self bleaching, my hair was ruined, and had layers of orange. I came here and the friendly stylist did an amazing job fixing it! No easy feat! Will come again. Love my new ombre tones!
