  First time there was a stupendous experience! First off, great music, happy people, positive energy! Everyone there is very welcoming, you feel like family. The owner Troy is a great guy, he makes sure to show you appreciation for coming to support his business! Joy or "mama joy" as they call her cut my hair and she did an excellent job! I will definitely be coming back and I would recommend this place to everyone!

  This is a great establishment. From the first step in the front door and being acknowledged... very attentive... the atmosphere made me feel like I was in the movies (you know, all those cool barbershop scenes...), sports talk... good music. A real gentleman's club for sure. Definitely be back. Thank you Joy. Also appreciated the "first time" acknowledgement and appreciation as such. Cheers!

  Status has a very laid back and social atmosphere. I have never had such a positive barbershop experience as I did today. Katie was very talented and experienced. I was extremely impressed with her shading, texturing, and beard trimming. Would recommend this place to everyone I know. Cheers guys!

  Status is the best barbershop in Victoria. The atmosphere is chill and the staff are diverse in their skill set. Troy, the owner, made sure I was 100% satisfied with my service. Definitely coming back. Be sure to communicate specifically what it is you want done to avoid any issues. Definitely check this shop out.

  I came in for the first time for a cut since my regular hairdresser was away, and had Karen for my stylist. Once I got home and washed the product out of my hair, I quickly realized that my natural part was not cooperating and falling where it normally does, which created a very uneven weight line on the side of my head. I called and explained what had happened, and Karen didn't hesitate at all to get me to come back in so she could blend the weight line in and fix the unnevenness. I am very happy with my cut now, and will definitely be back. They really go the extra mile to make sure you're happy. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who's looking for a quality cut.
