::Absolutely one of the most beautiful and angelic churches located in downtownToronto. The Church was built in the mid 1800s and St. Basil's Church is known to serve one of the largest congregations in Toronto. I remembered attending mass there when I was a student at St. Joseph's College School for girls on Bay and Wellesley. It is a site to behold!

::Beautiful building, welcoming parish. Now if you hate organ music find another catholic church. they keep it classical. I enjoy it. the new pastor is nice. also seems to be an LGBTQ friendly church (i mean for a Catholic parish)

::When I was 23 In 1965 I was a convert. Father Donlan at St Basils prepared me for baptism. We met in his office twice a week and I remember how kind he was. I loved the beauty warmth and feeling of comfort in that beautiful church.

::The study of inspired Scripture is the chief way of finding our duty. For in it we find both instruction about conduct and the lives of blessed men delivered in writing, as some breathing images of godly living, for the imitation of their good works. St. Basil the Great
