Got what we wanted, new skis quickly and efficiently. Price seems good too.

Bought a Scott Ski goggle a month and half ago, it came with broken box, gave me 10% off, that was fine. Bought an Oakley sun glass today, it came with no box. Serious inventory management dysfunction. And both of the cashier ladies today got standoffish faces which is unusual.

Iā€™m so tired of coming in to this place and trying to find what I want!! I went in today to go look for a pair of training shoes for the gym. 6 of the staff were all chatting in a group together while im trying to find a pair of shoes that would work best for my needs! Nobody asked if I needed help. You guys need to work on better customer service

A typical SportChek with average service. Better than most though. Selection and location is very good with free parking in the mall. Good selection for most Canadian sports except football. The tech stuff here is not prominent and not easy to browse.

A couple of months back, I saw an Asian lady ahead of me in line trying to communicate with the store cashiers about a product, even trying to type things down in a translator app and showing them. The reps had no patience and no empathy for this woman. They said "no, don't show me that on your phone" and actually shooed her away. The customer was broken about it. She just stood there sad. The reps then laughed with other customers, rolled their eyes and said "sorry for the trouble". They did this loudly enough so the Asian lady could hear. Sorry but what the actual hell is with this behaviour, Sport Chek? If instead they were communicating with someone with a disability, requiring alternative methods to comminicate, would your reps treat them the same way? Or was this all because they were dealing with someone of colour? Watching how the store reps treated this lady may not matter to your shopping experience but it matters to me. I have chosen to never go here again. Sucks that with all the shiny, expensive stock they carry here, they can't afford a little tolerance. If you're looking for sporting gear and good customer service, I suggest looking somewhere else.
