::Recently bought the Valencia sofa, the Baxter storage bed and the Reader coffee table from Small Space Plus. My fiancé and I were excited to support a small business. It was expensive but the furniture was good for a small condo like ours and multi-functional, and the staff (Kadian in particular) were very friendly and helpful. The movers were professional and did a great job setting up the couch for us and disposed of the packaging, and even offered to take some of the boxes from our other packaging for disposal. Great team! When setting up the bed, we were given a 5th leg for it, but no hole to put it in. We left it on with the 4 legs and it seems to be working for now but it left us wondering about the quality control considering how much we paid for everything. We are hoping it doesn't cause any issues in the future. The Valencia sofa is beautiful and comfortable, and I love that it turns into a flat bed for guests. You can also use it as a sectional or split up the sofa and reversible chaise, which we did. It adds a great mid-century look to any home. It is expensive ($1,599.99) but looks and feels reasonable for that price. The Reader coffee table was a mess in and of its own which is why I decided to give this company 3 out of 5 stars. I was initially going to get a similar table from Structube, but Kadian told me she would price match the Structube one which was $100 cheaper, so we decided to go with the Reader. First, it was missing 4 screws. They asked if they should deliver the missing parts or if we wanted to pick them up so I said I would pick them up so I could count the pieces and ensure it didn't happen again as the store was out of the way for me. The first instruction tells us we need to screw the bottom shelf to the legs which were extremely difficult to do, due to there being no pre-drilled holes so we gave up after screwing in 2 which didn't even go all the way in. We were told that the shelf was made to be free-floating (but why put it in the instructions then?) and it looked fine when we flipped it over and it stayed put, so we left it as is. The really big problem happened when we tried to lift the top. We discovered it was broken (I don't think it was even assembled properly before it was delivered to us to be honest) and it took us and our friends over an hour to disassemble the top and put it back together so it would work. This table was supposed to come pre-assembled but it was a joke. Even after we "fixed" it the table would not sit flush when we would lift it and put it back down until we kept adjusting the screws. It was just a lot more time and effort on our part than expected and I don't understand how they can get away with such lack of quality control considering how much they charge. I really wanted to love this company but I'm disappointed. First the missing pieces, and then an improperly assembled/broken table made the whole process disappointing and frustrating. I still love the bed and couch, and they thankfully haven't caused any issues (so far, we haven't moved into our new place yet so we'll see how they are with daily use), but the coffee table experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I will still recommend for people living in condos to check them out as they have really cool and functional pieces, and the staff are easy to reach and helpful, but I would warn people to check over the items ASAP after they're delivered and get in touch with the company for a resolution if needed. If you can buy similar pieces elsewhere that are better quality, I would recommend going that route.

::I purchased a custom-made sofa from Small Space Plus around Christmas and am very happy with it. 1) They promised delivery in six-eight weeks and it came within six weeks. 2) The team provided A+ customer service. Because I was ordering a custom-made sofa I needed extra help to try and get a visual of the material. His team went beyond, taking the time to show me all of the swatches that were available and also helping me understand what the sofa would feel like using similar models in the store. 3) The delivery guys were fantastic. They called me to let me know the sofa was delivered to the store, worked with me to get a time that worked for delivery, and were in in out of my condo in less than 30 minutes. They were very careful with bringing the sofa in my apartment and provided full white-glove service, assembling it and setting it up. Even though I offered to throw out the wrapping/garbage they insisted on taking care of it. Before they left they made sure they did a full inspection for defects, but also told me that if there are any issues they missed I could call the store and they would take of it (there are none). I've had the sofa for about a month and I am very happy with it.

::Excellent place for condo sized furniture that still looks chic and doesn't break your bank. This location is small but they have just enough items to give you a sense of what the design looks like. Their online variety is good, so once you have an idea, you can buy online. They offer delivery within Toronto and the staff are very helpful.
