  Excellent from start to finish of the project. Started looking into solar to offset energy consumption for our farm and decided to go with Skyfire for the price, length of time in business, knowledge of solar energy systems and the people working there. Our project was built during a transition time as Skyfire ramps up for the increased incentives from the Alberta Government but navigated everything very well. They took care of the paperwork for the rebate and had excellent installers who were efficient, clean and pleasant to be around. The electrical inspector said he was always happy with Skyfire's work, system design and site documentation. Would strongly recommend Skyfire.

  We started our solar energy project like a professional project going through the phases: initial sizing, cost estimate, tendering, contractor selection, contracting, execution, commissioning and start-up. Using the contractor database and the web sizing tools provided by the Alberta Solar Energy program, we consulted several Calgary based contractors over July and August 2017. Two of them responded readily, others had to be reminded. We selected SkyFire as they provided the most detailed project package (cost, high level schedule, detailed equipment and labor, permitting) after an on site inspection of our house, including the roof for the lay-out of the solar panels and installation feasibility check. The other contractors did not match this level of project package preparation. The execution was flawless, including a project adjustment caused by the replacement of some of the wood shakes on the roof to ensure the water tightness of the flashing. This change order was settled in a very professional manner taking our customer interest and satisfaction into account. Our solar electricity production started in October 2017 without a glitch and the project was closed after all the technical documentation was provided along with the user training and the permitting completed. Very professional and high quality project execution delivered on cost and schedule, matching our economic model for solar energy. I have recommended SkyFire to my neighbors and my community.

  We had followed the Skyfire group for several years through their efforts to increase Solar installations in Alberta. I had been very impressed with the information and examples of installations they had provided. A few years ago they developed a plan for our home but I felt the benefit estimated did not justify the expenditure. With the Alberta government incentive program I decided to contact them again. The estimate was much better on the reward side due to the incentive program and decline in solar panel prices. We have a tile roof so extra effort was required for the installation, Skyfire proceeded diligently to make sure we had replacement tiles in case of any damage before the project was considered (we had no breakage on our tiles during installation). The work was started and completed in the third week of November (approx. 3 full days for a 13 panel array). All aspects were done professionally with a minimum of disruption to our household. We started generating power immediately and the system was turned on officially after the Enmax inspection, which occurred within a few days of the installation. Software was provided for real time monitoring and the 10 year warranty gives us peace of mind that they are with us for the long term. We are very pleased with Skyfire's approach and implementation and recommend them as a Solar Power Installation provider.
