::3.7 The old glory of Silver Snail on Queen west and Spadina is gone. However it is still filled with knowledgeable and nice staff. That if your comic book fan you really should not miss out. Comics, small cafe, service desk and merch. It is on a second floor on Yonge, just north of dundas square. It is easy to walk pass it. I seen parents carrying up strollers on very narrow stair case.

::Crappy place for comics now. The Queen Street location was huge and full of nerd fun. The Yonge Street location is small and feels very unwelcoming. There are many other great comic shops in the GTA that are worth visiting. I will remember what the Snail used to be like, not what it is now.

::Large selection of comics, cool fridge magnets as well. Guaranteed to have something you are looking for. Lots of good deals on old comic bundles as well. Staff can be kind of snobby though.

::This place WAS the "GO TO" place for everything comics in nerdy-happiness. It was a legend. Now that it has moved to Yonge-Dundas square it is a pale imitation of itself. Its now main stream, trendy with a coffee shop in front. The staff aren't as engaged, disinterested and don't really give you any serious effort of help. I've been here thrice trying to give this place a chance and trying to introduce my son to certain genre's of comics. Despite being ever polite and asking direct probing questions to the staff all I get is disinterest and general waving in the direction of a section. Before you could get lost in the vast selection of what Silver Snail had to offer. Now its just a shallow thin mall shop. A truly disappointing shadow of its former self.

::Love this store! 1) Has every new comic you need. 2) Cool geek items, like shirts, statues and figures. 3) a nice cafe to relax, chill, socialize and many more! 4) very friendly staff. Cons: 1) Although this store is good, their collection of back issues is not the best, and some back issues seem to smashed and forced into place 2) the store can be a problem for those who are handicapped since there is no other way of entering the store other then taking the stairs. Highly recommend you visit this store if you happens to pass it or like comics. :) 4/5
