  It's interesting to go hear Authors reading from their books, & to ask questions to them after. Then you can $ buy the book & get the whole story.

  Shelf life books is a Calgary treasure. So much love seems to go into their book selection and they're always engaging local writers and artists through events.

  Shelf Life Books carries such a great collection of classics and hard to find books. Staff was very helpful and welcoming, and I loved how everything was displayed/ laid out. My only wish is that I could stay there all day with a coffee reading!

  Great selection of books, carries a variety of genres and such. Four stars because of the odd layout which often feels a bit small when you crotch down to look. Would recommend over a chapters, indigo or Cole's.

  Best bookstore in Calgary, hands down. From the finely curated selection to the aesthetic of the store itself, Shelf Life exudes the feeling that comes with a great armchair and a peaceful day with a fresh book. Great titles to choose and the staff are versed in the literature they stock. Go here, get a book and keep the reading tradition alive.
