It was amazing. Booked online and made a special request for a quiet, private table for a romantic evening because my boyfriend was leaving for Germany the next day. The table was set up very nicely, beautiful candle and it was a booth with a high back, like being in our own world. The restaurant offered us a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, which was a touch that makes them stand out. The server and host were quite friendly and personable, we were made to feel like VIP's. The food was amazing... it looked and tasted divine. I am so glad I found this hidden gem.

Nice spot for a Bank-Day slow breakfast. Eggs Benny was tops.

Overall good atmosphere and fantastic service, but a few things left a bad impression that will probably deter me from returning... Super small breakfast menu. Ordered the eggs benny, medium poached. They came solid and hard and the potatoes were cold. We had the option to get potatoes or greens... My friend got greens and there was barely a handful on his plate. Not equivalent at all to the portion of cold potatoes. The biggest issue I had which really left me PO'd is that the coffee they serve at breakfast is average pot coffee...not Americano or anything fancy. It costs $4 for a cup of coffee. Way overpriced, especially considering mimosas were on special for $5. I will end by saying the mimosas were delicious, but not worth a trip back.

Well prepared food, good service. For the most memorable visit, try a winter evening when the views past Christmas lights and the skating rink to the river make for an enchanting atmosphere. Filet was excellent, both well prepared and high quality.

The restaurant I wanted to go to was not open yet, so I went here because the ratings were good. I will say that the service was attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Two things ruined it for me. One was the menu item I chose - the Banananut Sandwich. It was little better than peanut butter on toast. If there was bananas in there, I couldn't taste them and the brioche toast might have been white bread for all the flavor it had. Just bad. Do not order it. The second thing (which was not the restaurant's fault) was I was seated by two "jocks" that had a running commentary about themselves. I don't mind conversations, but these guys talked over the ends of each others sentences in their eagerness to talk about themselves. And they did not pause once for my entire meal. Annoying to the point of obnoxious.
