  We have been to this restaurant a few times now. We like other reviewers have experienced less than desired service. Sam Po has been renovated. It is a bright restaurant without many windows. It is clean but like other Asian restaurants the restroom is not pleasant. Back to hospitality, it surprises me that owners spend so much money on decoration and advertising yet spend very little on properly training their staff. We have been turned off by curt staff. The food is very good. We enjoyed dinner and dim sum items. The dim sum special off hour menu is very reasonably priced. There is some courtesy parking spots next to the restaurant. We are hopeful our next visit to Sam Po will be a better experience

  One of my favorite places to go. Its convenient being in the middle of the city, and the prices are fair. The food is decent. There are better and worse places, but this is a very nice place to go. The server's English tends to be spotty. Sometimes you get better ones than others, though usually its still very friendly. They are owned by the same people as the restaurant across the street, Noodle Express. The food is essentially the same. The atmosphere is higher end on this side. (the other side more like a "dai pai dong") After 2pm there is Happy Hour. Pretty much dinner time is always happy hour so that's a good thing! Certain items are only available on the weekend. Like Pineapple buns. Their egg tarts are the very flaky kind.

  I thought I was eating really well to visiting Sam Po Dim Sum. Sam Po Dim Sum definitely set a higher standard for quality food in my opinion. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here and the service was fantastic each and every time that I have gone here! All the food was exceptional to say the least and if you have a sweet tooth, you need to try out their golden buns!!!
