Riverdale east park has a beautiful view. Both east and west have a lot of space to play sports, nice size pool to swim on the east north side of the park with a water slide and a big track for running, jogging or walking. In the winter if you love to toboggan, going down the hills is a lot of fun. Both the west and east side of the park are great to walk around and the bonus part is the Don River trails. The trails are beautiful and can lead you down to the beaches going south. If you walk north of the trail, it can also lead you to historic grounds and landmarks that have been around for years. My memories at this park were a blast and it still is a great place to spend the day doing what ever activities you like or just relaxing and doing nothing. From the top of the hill, east of the park their are a many benches where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the city. It is breathtaking!

To anyone that loves Toronto and hasn't checked out the east side. Come here seat yourself on one of the many park benches and enjoy a relaxing view of Nature and the City. This is a little bit of a hidden spot but it's overlooking the Don Valley Parkway. There's a baseball diamond and a few other public facilities available. But it's really all about the view and the feel for the area.

Sledding here is amazing. Though slightly dangerous it is so much fun it's like a ski hill for free. The view at night of downtown Toronto is great

It is definitely a best place to see a sunset in Toronto. In summers, there is a swimming pool on the north end which is great. Also, a full 400m track for all your running/jogging needs. In winter 2017 , they're supposed to inaugurate new skating. The park has steep slopes on east end which are great for tobogganing and hill sliding. Across the street is a nice little coffee shop with outdoor seating- highly recommended.
