::The only place in Toronto with love pigs that kids can go see; this is currently under construction (winter 2018) so do look for an updated review this summer. No entry cost but there is a donation machine at the entrance. Picnic tables throughout and a good place to bring a take out lunch. Good TTC access.

::Riverdale Farm is a good place for young kids to see farm animals in the city. They have standard farm animals such as cows, chickens and pigs. You can pet some of the animals and watch them feed others. In addition, there is a paved path you can walk around. I would really only recommend it to families with children.

::They have baby goat triplets that are only a couple of months old right now. They're incredibly cute. Springtime here is great because of all of the newborns. It's free and great fun on a nice day.

::I always love going to Riverdale Farm with my family. It's a little time capsule to a simpler time nestled right in the middle of the city. It's never super busy, it has ample bathroom facilities and there's a terrific little snack bar to the west of the park. The meeting room is also great for parties.

::This farm has charm. I grew up going to this farm. Back in the day, the farm had plenty of animals to see. Not so much any more but still a great place to bring a child. Spending the day with my child was a pleasure. Walking around was an adventure and in the summer time, the wade pool outside the gates of the farm is a lot of fun. Riverdale area is beautiful because it is in the heart where diversity lives and has little villages where you can explore a variety of culture food and other interesting things. The Farm has been there for years. It was actually where the Metro Zoo was. Fun fact, it still has some buildings where they housed zoo animals. A lot of history lives at the zoo.
