  The employees are very nice even though we waited in line for about 30 minutes. It's worth the wait! At least they have a system where the host will pass by and ask how many we are and tell you the approximate time when the table will be free. The Mexican dish and Bobby Dallas was excellent!

  One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. This place has huge portions with fantastic quality of produce and great prices. We paid around fifty dollars for two of us and are still not hungry roughly eight hours later. The service is great and the local is fantastic plus the toilets are super freaky and worth a visit which is odd to write. Go here. Eat and be merry.

  Fun and funky decor and a super cute vibe - the food was great, mostly breakfast and brunch offering all morning and afternoon. Unfortunately their liquor license had lapsed when we were there so no mimosas, but the menu has an impressive section. Try the coconut milk maple syrup coffee, delicious! Fyi: We arrived at 11:15am on a Tuesday and got seated immediately but by 11:30 there was a line out the door despite the -8 temps so consider arriving early!

  Waited 75 minutes just to be seated and another half hour before we got our food (we were a table of 6) but it was WORTH THE WAIT! Cost me $22 tip included, and I think it was worth every penny. Our server Benoit was on the ball, very good. This will not be the last time I attend L'avenue for brunch. It is the best brunch food I've ever had.

  The food is great and the environment is a lot of fun....from the way the menu looks to the bathroom the place is unique & the staff is very nice. I very much enjoyed my meal and the fruit they give with every plate is a nice touch even the water they give had fruit in it (yummy). Definitely coming back here.
