  After sixteen years, I still prefer Reid's to any other hardware store. If they don't have it, they will order it. If there is a less expensive substitute, they will point that out. Just too bad that the city, in its wisdom has forced the customers to pay for parking. Okay for those of us who can walk and carry, but unfortunate for those who are elderly and disabled.

  Great little hardware store with great selection. The staff are excellent and go out of their way to be helpful. Fred is friendly and polite.

  I have been dealing with Fred at his Sutherland area store for the last 16 years and I can honestly say every visit has been terrific. Fred is very knowledgeable and great to visit with when he has time. The overall selection and value is great. It is wonderful to have a neighborhood hardware store where the staff call you by name.

  Great staff, great store! They carry everything you'd ever need for home projects and so much more! Surprising for its size. And really great low prices. I literally have no desire to shop at home depot or rona anymore. Highly reccomend you check this gem out!
