  Amazing salon..I make the trek from Steveston to have my hair cut and styled by Samuel. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my locks!

  Cody is amazing! I've been seeing Cody for years for both cut and colours and always come away super happy with a gorgeous mane. He's very easy to talk to and knows what will/won't work with a certain hair type - he really wants to make sure the cut will work for you. I'll referred both women and men to him and they have always had a good experience.

  After several downtown hair salons and not getting what I was looking for I popped into Proper. I got in the next day, got exactly the cut I was hoping for, good advice and fair prices! Tgoodness!:) bringing my hubbys super curly hair in next! Nice to find a trusted salon:)

  A wonderful place with friendly knowledgeable staff. I've been going to this place for about a year and Katie's been doing my cut and colour. She always listens to what you would like, explains throughly how to achieve it and gives great suggestions as well. She never rushes and always take her time and care with you.

  Love love love this place! Sara has been doing my hair for about 3 years now. We have done highlights, purple and even gone back to a brown in one appointment. I would never go anywhere else! I have seen everyone else do amazing cuts and colours as well. They use the best of the best products, highly recommend making an appointment!
