::Falsely accused of shoplifting!!! Went in with the girlfriend and she went to look at makeup so I started looking around the store. Some time had passed and I started to get impatient and wanted to go see more since we were in the city on vacation. I went to look for her and couldn't find her. I tried calling her and got no answer. Knowing that she didn't know her way around and she wouldn't leave without me for fear of getting lost, I began to worry. About 10 mins later she called me crying her eyes out because they had made a scene at the front of the store, hauled her in the back room and accused her of stealing because she was looking at some skin lotion, was going to buy it. When she got to the front she realized that the lines were very long. She put the package back on the shelf and proceeded to walk out. Turned out that an employee found the package and it was empty, because someone had either stolen it before or the employee did and was waiting to pin it on someone else. After my girlfriend was hauled in to the back room she was told to empty her purse and pocket by a male Loss Prevention Officer who spoke almost no English and was gesturing agressively because she didn't understand him. My girlfriend would always make a big deal about how much she enjoyed going to Jean Coutu stores whenever we visited New Brunswick or Quebec. No I don't think she'll step foot in another one. As a licensed Security Officer and being a Loss Prevention officer in the past, the situation was handled very poorly.

::J'ai eu un très mauvais service à la pharmacie. Il était 14h, personne au alentour à part une autre cliente devant moi pour donner ma prescription. 20 minutes, plus tard, tous les autres clients qui sont arrivés entre temps ont eu leur commande et toujours rien pour moi. Je suis allée me renseigner poliment à la caissière deux fois et elle m'a assuré que ça s'en venait. 40 Minutes après mon arrivée, toujours rien. Je suis allée demander ma prescription et je suis partie. Aucune excuse de leur part et la pharmacienne m'a passer un commentaire bête en partant. Très mauvais service et ce n'est pas la première fois. Pour ma part, je n'y retournerai plus.

::Les produits défectueux ne sont échangés. J'ai perdu 10 dollars dans un produit défectueux que la gérante a refusé de rembourser.

::J'y vais depuis des années et j'ai toujours reçu un très bon service. C'est tout petit, tassé, mais sinon rien à redire. Leur comptoir de prescription donne un service au moins aussi bon, sinon meilleur qu'ailleurs.
