::My partner and I have bought 2 cars from Obsession over the last 4 years and are very pleased with the vehicles and service. We were shown different options for our budget and didn't feel any pressure which gave us time to think about the purchase. I have also called Stephane, the owner, on a couple of occasions for some maintenance work and he always managed to schedule me in within 24 hrs. Even the mechanic is nice and polite, this past winter I had to have a tire changed (remove spare) on which seemed to be the coldest day, he did it outside and was always professional and polite while doing it. I would recommend this business to anyone looking to buy a used vehicle. When driving around Aylmer you will notice many cars with the Obsession sticker on it therefore others feel the same.

::I bought a 2002 Ford Focus from this establishment last year which was sold to me at a reasonable price. Considering the year, model, make and mileage, I expected a certain amount of repairs to be done along the way but not anything crazy, especially considering a safety had apparently been done by another garage in the area reporting minor issues and that Obsession had stated it made substantial repairs to the car to make it road worthy. The radiator overheated within the first few months, apparently due to a busted hose and internal sensor failures. Obsession repaired it but I ended up having to pay in full. At the time, I racked it up as basic wear and tear. A few months later I brought the car in for a basic overview and tune-up at a local garage. To my surprise, I was told that two front ball joints, and rear bearings had to be changed immediately. Also, the hand break cables were ceased with rear drum finished as a result. The hand break cables should have been mentioned in the safety let alone the rest. Lesson learned; I will have safety checks done at a garage of my choice and never ever buy a car from Obsession again or refer anyone as well. I confirm that the owner of this establish Automobile ment is Stephane.

::I just wanted to let you all know, that the owner of Obsession Automobile is Stephane Landry and not Richard. The place you guys are talking about is not Obsession Automobile. If you look at the picture of the establishment, it isn't the correct one. The one in the picture is located on Vanier but further down the street. I know this because I have dealt with them on numerous occasions and I have never received anything but excellent service during and after the sale.

::I bought what I believed to be a structurally sound 4x4 2004 Ford Explorer back in August "AS IS" To me "AS IS" is things like rust spots, dents even a broken emergency break cable but to my surprise after bringing it in to a local garage for a routine oil change there was more than just a broken emergency cable wrong with it. They noticed that the front differential hosing was cracked and part of the outer shell was missing thus resulting in no fluids in the front differential and the gears were seized. There was no front drive shaft connecting the transfer-case and the front axles have been cut off because of this making it a rear wheel drive only. After about a week of the run around I finally spoke to the owner Richard Landy who claimed he was unaware of the problems.and tried to put the blame on me saying that I could have done the damage. I don't even know how to change my oil let alone cut off the axles and why would I do that? He then went on to try to say he was unaware it was a 4x4 to begin with...guess he missed the 4x4 high/low buttons on my dash when he sold it to me and he's been in the business for 50 years and doesn't know his cars? another lie. When I purchased the truck it had 4 different size tires on it so they had to hoist it up to put 4 of the same size tires and damage in the front is clearly visible. The owner Richard was rude and unwilling to help and actually drive away. One of the employees offered to have their garage "fix" the truck at a 50/50 cost for parts and labor. I do not trust them nor am I willing to give them anymore money, especially when it consists of a complete overhaul of my front end.
