::I love this park, and all it represents. It's close to the heart of west end folks, inclusive and a great place for an any day break!

::I live right beside this park and I love it. There’s a fenced off-leash dog park, community garden plots, a kids playground and lots of benches and open park space. It’s wonderful to hang out in the park in the warm weather. My fiancé likes to bring his portable bbq to the park in the summer and cook outdoors!

::a nice place to relax pretty clean and very loud at times being next to a school and dog park lots more fun in the summer months

::Nelson Park is just a chill little Park. It's a place to walk or just sit or to bring the kids for a very minimalist kids playground. There are also tiny private garden plots that people in the neighborhood have rented out and beautify and feed the neighborhood with. Please don't pick the fruit or vegetables without permission. No barbecuing allowed. Very popular hangout for the drug addicts, alcoholics and homeless people. Especially with the installation of a public toilet, a couple years ago.

::It's always very interesting in this park. Although some homeless people generate there, you must remember there Human too and are always curtious to me. It's not there fault the government don't have interest in them. Aside them it's a great place to be with your dog and generally is overall a nice place to meet people.
