::Poor quality product and service. Had gel nails done here last month. Booked an appointment but was initially turned away because they could not find my friends name. They only managed to find our appointment when we were on the phone making an appointment with another salon. I was given to a very very new nail tech who had to be monitored and have his work corrected several times, making the process take longer than necessary. Was cut several times by tools and not sanitized right away. Colour was extremely uneven, which the supervisor noticed but did not bother to correct. Nails started to lift in the back and on the sides within the first week. Very disappointed.

::Nice place (new seats, just after the renovation) but that’s it. poor job all the time. I don’t do shellac or fake nails. My problem is dry cuticles. I never was satisfied how they cleaned it up. No matter who is doing it. I can do myself that quality and you don’t have to pay for that 25+ all the time. Also the tend to peel off a layer of your nail all the time- not healthy at all. Now I understand why they push for gel so hard - easy to mask the bad done job. Sorry Nail It, but that’s the truth. I wish I could add the picture here to show how poor is quality of the job done. I think all positive reviews are either paid or done by friend- because there is nothing in the middle. It’s either superb or no-no.

::I got shellac with a "gold" manicure and it was awesome! Hana really put a lot of effort into her work and was always ensuring that I was happy with the shape/color of my nails before continuing onto the next step :) They look wonderful! I highly recommend this place and her!

::Not sure how this place got such a good review. Just had the worst and most expensive pedicure. It took 2 hours and my toes were not painted even and had blotchy spots, even though they offered to fix it I did not feel like seating there for another hour. I feel like the least that they could have done is offer a discount or asked me if I can come another time. I took my girlfriend as it was her birthday and she also wanted a manicure. Once the pedicure was done they just left us seating, no one apporeached her and asked if she still wanted a manicure. No one offered us even water after being there for 2 hours. I feel like if you are paying $60 for a pedicure your service should be better. Also all the extra cost. If you want pearl finish on your toes prepare to pay extra $15. I'm not sure why, it's just a powder that they layer on top and the jar of that stuff doesn't even cost that much. If I could give 0 stars I would. I'd suggest the owner to train their stuff or at least provide reasonable pricing.

::They have a great location in the middle of Stephen Avenue! It's definitely accessible and has the usual prices of a nail salon. The last time I got my nails done last month at Nail It Salon, the nail technician wasn't as welcoming, but that's okay. It seemed like he was still in training. He shaped my nails fine and varnished my nails, which was okay. I got gel done, and it lasted for almost 3 weeks. I recommend better communication with customers but other than that it's a cute salon.
