I have been several times and this is my overall opinion. The food menu is not good. There is no common theme to the food options (they have French dishes, Asian, Italian, Seafood etc, but do not specialize in any particular one so all are mediocre), the dishes do not pair well in an appetizer/main fashion or in a share tapas fashion. The menu is not that lengthy either. The wine list is not that great but they score "cool" points with their cocktail list. Overall the staff is very professional but our server the last time we went was very rude. Me and a gf sat at the bar and he was defensive when after I sampled the first wine that I asked to try another, he got argumentative (even though all he poured was the sample and not a full glass) and then when he brought the second type he didn't let me sample it just poured the full glass (so guess I was taking it whether I liked it or not). Also he brought us two bills and when I asked for only one he slammed his hands down to collect the two cheques and huffed and puffed while turning them into one tab. He ignored us most of the time and when we did flag him down it seemed like he didn't want to be bothered by guests and everything we asked for was annoying him.

A friday winter night. Fantastic staff! Barman/server Dimitiri was very cool. Renovations made to the entire property are exceptional. The bar set up is smart. The food and cocktails were excellent from presentation to originality and flavours. Prices are a tiny bit high so can't go back if the budget is tight but tonight was worth it. A relaxing easy going evening chilling at the bar! Worth the 5 stars in my book. Keep it up!

Extremely well balanced cocktails, expertly assembled by the bartenders. Prices around the 16$ mark are reasonable fo a hotel bar. The room is dim, but the real negative point stealing the stars from my review is the menu's design. The pages are too dark and glossy, the font to small and thin, all in all making it barely readable. The cocktail descriptions are uninspiring and not informative at all. A drink that was served infused by smoke made zero mention of this fact in the description. On the upside, they have what appears to be a +/- 20 litre barrel "timbré" by the SAQ from Montreal's 1769 distillery. According to the maitre-d, contains Madison park Gin, Campari, and a home made Madison Vermouth. We tasted it at the 3 to 4 month aging point. Beautifully presented, complete with monogrammed Queen-E super-clear ice cube. Very oaky on the nose. Wonderfully smooth and deep flavour - floral vermouth notes and a hint of the campari's bitterness linger on a long finish that ends with woodsy astringency. All in all, well balanced, but over-oaked to my taste. And, not surprisingly, wayyyy over priced at 28$.

Nice bar, great drinks. A little on the pricy side. My only major complaint is after observing the bartenders/barmaids, they should be careful with HYGIENE. They touch lots of stuff with their hands and then prepare drinks with the same bare hands. I saw one guy touching his own hair and right after that he was carving an ice cube( they carve the cube for most drinks) They should also use prongs for garnishes and should wash their hands more frequently at the bar. This should be a high end bar and one should not see this at a so called upscale place.
