::Got an oil change with high mileage conventional oil and tire pressure topped up. Technicians were helpful and answered questions politely. However, the technician did not re-seat my dipstick so it was shaking around under my hood protruding half a foot out of the dipstick tube and causing an odd noise. After putting the dipstick back in everything seems fine so far.

::I came here to have transmission fluid serviced on my Mitsubishi before I moved 30 hours away from home. Most amazing customer service I've had in a long time. Very caring, friendly, organized and clean. Not only did they take care of my transmission fluid but they also advised I changed my differential fluids as well. I cannot deny how great their customer service is but unfortunately through out my trip, I started to notice a very distinct "rubber burning smell". By the time I hit Ottawa Friday night I was very worried. Thankfully, I was already spending the weekend there so I decided to take it in the very next day. Because all Mitsubishi service shops are normally closed on weekends, I had to bring it into a local shop. $60 later, the shop told me that the differential was leaking at the driveshaft (broken seal) and the burning smell was coming from the fluid leak. At that time, he could not change it as he did not have the parts for it. The Monday I made an appointment with Mitsubishi. Fortunately, they had an opening that day. I was afraid they might also not have the correct part to fix my issue, but they did and thankfully it was covered under the very little bit of warranty I had left on my car. That said, I believe it must have been a mistake that was made at Mr.Lube because they do take their work very seriously. But I was very disappointed with the fact that this cost me extra money/time and could have cost me a lot more (if it weren't for my warranty) for something I did not have control over and could have been avoided.

::I've used a lot of mechanics over the years and find these guys to go above and beyond. Very thorough and I've used them on a fleet of vehicles. We had issues with other shops, but never here. Very friendly and went out of their way on several occasions to point out issues that needed addressing, even if it wasn't something they serviced. To address some of these one star reviews: it sounds like mistakes to me, everybody makes them. What separates a great shop from an average one is how they deal with them. None of these reviews say if they even advised the mechanics of the issue and what was done.
