  This hotel seems was nice before. But the New management let it run down. Stain on bed sheet, got bite by flea?? The washrm is terribly with mold and paint peeling. May be 1 star??? Worst is the TV only got pornography channel. Guest was for hourly rental users. DO NOT GO THERE WITH KIDS

  Stayed for one night for a last minute booking; consequently getting a queen bed with a couch for two people and a dog. The high rating is for the great service I was given at the short amount of time my friend and I was staying. Rachel (she seems to be running the reception only) was extremely helpful and accomodating. She was patient in explaining the policies and rules. We were also travelling with medium/large dog so we paid a deposit that would be refunded if the room was in order (nothing damaged, broken, etc.) I love this method as the other motels my friend and I stayed automatically charged us $10-$40 for bringing a dog. Most humans are incredibly messy in hotels compared to a trained and carefully watched dog. So I found the deposit method very fair and effective for both the motel owner and dog-owner/guest. Before checking out Rachel called the housekeeper to check the room and soon enough I got my deposit back painlessly. I also lost the room key so a $10 charge was made which is understandable. She said to mail the key if found and I'd be refunded which I am still trying to find. The lack of a perfect rating was the motel itself. Quite dingy and the smell I immediately got opening the door was stale and old wood/furniture. Maybe not the most family friendly as the first thing that showed when I turned on the television was a porn movie. I found it humourous but my friend unfortunately did not. The other channels are great as it has the local cable channel and a movie commercial-free channel. Our bathroom was clean with the usual toiletries and clean towels but the handle for the hot water on the faucet was missing. Beautiful garden with lots of seating and great neighborhood but saw some odd characters go in and out of the motel. 25-30min drive to downtown Montréal which my friend and I found easy to maneuver about as the motel was right beside a large and major road. I would stay here again but I'll be smarter to book ahead, and know whoever your travelling with is comfortable and chill with cheap motels, so someone who isn't super high-maintenance. Would recommend if you're just passing by Montréal (1-2 nights).

  WiFi was okay. They don't actually wash the sheets... But the lakeside view is beautiful. It smelled bad too

  Good quality for the cheap price. Clean room, hot water, fridge, microwave, cable tv, ac/heating, free wifi, super quiet and a beautiful view of the river.
