They sell expired food!!! I bought a bag of odon noodles that was already 4 months passed the expired date. :(

It's located right next to Atwater metro in the middle of Concordia ghetto. It has a good selection of Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and other Asian cuisine groceries. But sometimes I find expired items on shelf so I always make sure to check before. Also I find the veggies a bit overpriced.

I will never go to shop at banzai any more. Last year, I bought few items in this supermarket, then, I decided to return it of course without opening it, I was surprised to learn that no return was allowed, only I will get the credit. Very disappointing , prices are higher than other oriental stores, I will never go back again.

Poor servie. People at the cashier need to offer better service. Made mistake with my purchase. Lady at the cashier over charged me. They need to remove foods that are very close to be expired. I do not recommend this place for you but if you must shop here, check the expiration dates on the products. Hope that helps.

Prices are high and service horrible. Kimchi costs $13.99 vs. $9.99 at a competition. In addition, they charge $2.00 deposit for the plastic container, so you are actually paying $15.99. When I try to return the container, the lady complained that the container is not washed. Hello? Do you wash softdrink bottles when you return them? These bottles are clearly not refillable. If they are actually reusing it, you should be concerned about the cleanliness of the food they are selling. If this is not the case, then they are trying to stick you with an arbitrary $2.00 deposit hoping that you will not bother to return these bottles. Either way, it does not look good. While high prices may be understandable given the location, it is my experience with the lady (who I believe is the daughter-in-law of the owner) that totally turned me off. She is just rude and should be removed from the store. Avoid if you can.
