  Outstanding!!! The last time I ate so well was when I was last in Strassburg! (OK... Alsatian cuisine is great as well) Of all regional French cuisines, I enjoy either southern Provençal or northern Lorraine the most. La Villette offers a marvellous sampling of the best Lorraine has to offer. Not a locale to drop in on if you are in a hurry. As a visitor to Montreal, I am delighted the new management has retained the excellent standards of the original proprietors

  Il faut savoir quoi choisir! Les sandwichs et les hamburgers sont un délice et il y a d’excellents fromages. Il y a beaucoup de touristes la fin de semaine. Le décor est rustique avec de belles touches historiques et même un peu d’humour. Les chansonniers en trame de fond ajoutent au charme de l’endroit.

  Le tartare n'est pas mariné et très sec Servi sur des endives sans aucun assaisonnement. Service très lent et personnel très approximatif. Dommage !

  A very nice lunch place. Although they serve breakfast, we were there for lunch. Really good choices the best a French bistro should have. Good French baguettes with strong hot mustard. French and tasty cold cuts. I did not try but the tray of cold cuts looks really good. They even have raclette for 1 person. The service is very friendly. Don’t expect privacy because the atmosphere is of a bistro where people talk, tables very close to each other. There’s a mix of both locals and lots of tourists. A good meal and fun experience.

  Pour le brunch, j'ai mangé la cassolette et c'était délicieux. Mon conjoint a pris l'omette savoyarde, c'était bon mais il aimait bien compléter avec mon plat, peut-être pas assez copieux pour lui. Nous y retournerons surement en soirée pour goûter à leur spécialité.
