::The employee at the register was incredibly rude. I just wanted a toasted bagel, but he refused to toast it if I didn't get butter on it, which I didn't want (I'm allergic to dairy and I explained this to him). Maybe the bagels are good, but I wouldn't know because they wouldn't sell me one toasted, and who wants to eat a cold bagel? They also gave the person I came with the wrong bagels, but we had no desire to go back and deal with their rude employees again to change them for what he ordered. I would recommend going to Fairmount bagels instead.

::Some of the bagels (not all) had an odd taste. I called just to let them know. The woman on the phone argued and was dismissive. She would not let me finish a sentence so I gave up. I wasn't looking for anything and barely had a chance to say so. The women probably didn't hear me since she was speaking over me the entire time.

::Very rude owner (or employee), told me I couldn't sit at the tables some meters away from their store because I didn't buy from them, even if two ladies who didn't buy anything either were sitting right next to me. The guy didn't even look at them and just tried to chase me away condescendingly. I would understand if the tables are in his store area, but they aren't. According to other people in the plaza, the guy has something against Asians (thinks we're easy to bully). I do not think such a store is able to offer anything of quality. Beware.

::Really, really good Sesame and Poppy Seed bagels (haven't tried any others). To give you an idea of how good they are, I googled "Best Bagels in Montreal" to see if they were getting any recognition. They're not. With that in mind, I can confidently say they're one of the best "underground" bagel joints in the city. They make a wicked tuna bagel as well, if you're looking for a meal.
