  Took my driving test here and I must say the instructor picked up very unnecesary things like me slowing down at a yield sign....I mean, was I meant to run through a yield sign? Took me round playground areas up to 4 times as if he wanted me to fail at all cost! This sadist marked me down for obeying speed limits at the ramp...accroding to him "the limits are only indicative"..WHAT!? In my 12 years of driving, never saw anything like this. I left there feeling like he just punished me for being a new comer to Calgary and couldn't stand me passing on first try like I did the written test. If you need to take a road test, consider other options and stay away from these guys

  Transferred travel trailer registration and picked up an inspection form for another vehicle one day, quick and easy, in and out in 10 minutes. Registered the new vehicle a few days later, 20 minutes and I was out. The staff was very friendly, knowledgable and efficient.

  Before going down to the registry, I called to find out what I'd need to trade my BC driver's license in for an Alberta one. They answered the phone on the second ring and gave me clear info about what to bring - so when I got there, there were no surprises. At the registry, the wait was short because they were well staffed (about 6 people on, none of them mulling about or looking disinterested). The woman who helped me was pleasant and speedy. I was in and out in about 15 minutes, which included get my AB health care card sorted in addition to my driver's license. A very good experience overall.
