  I go out of my way to shop at this Loblaws instead of the one two blocks from my house because I really like the bright interior, courtesy of the high ceilings and glass roof. There is a large sushi bar, and a small but good bakery section where staff will cheerfully decorate a special cake while you wait. Helpful staff at the butcher counter will come out and search for items you can't locate. There is an in-store Starbucks at the back of the store where you can rest before finishing a big shop. The cashiers are very friendly and courteous. I'm deducting one star for the bread price-fixing, which is really unforgivable: shameful that Loblaws was able to avoid a fine. Let's hope the class action brings justice to consumers!

  The specials lured me in but the ones I wanted the most we're not in stock. I asked a member of the staff where is there 24 cans of pop display. Seriously she answered, good luck. This was the Loblaws flagship store when it opened in April 1998. They love to renovate it and change things around so you have to shop more and you'll see items you buy on impulse. No featured chicken breast, no featured lean ground beef Club pack...

  LOBLAWS is one of my favourite grocery stores. The PC brand is fantastic, and makes some really unique products, like their coconut-based dairy free ice cream, which is fantastic and cheaper than competitors' products. The self checkout is a nice option if you're just grabbing a couple things. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Having a Joe Fresh inside is also great, since they have great clothes at great prices, for everyone in our family.
