  They're certainly not about to replace the big box stores, but when you need high quality, well designed woodworking and garden tools, they're the place to go.

  My favourite place to shop for wood working supplies. You can check stock levels or build an order on their website before you go to the store. Lee Valley is an excellent place for higher-end wood working supplies. From hobby to commercial, they have almost anything you need. Prices are on-par or better than most places. They also have gardening supplies, cabinetry hardware and various other home and outdoor supplies ( though I can’t speak to this area, as I’ve only been to the store for the wood working supplies). The store is always clean and organized. There are a ton of novelty and inventive “impulse buy” items that make perfect gifts for family and friends. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I’m very glad to have a Lee Valley in Winnipeg!!!

  Great selection. Items in stock. I've never been keen on the way stock is laid out. Oh well, seems to work for them

  Products are laid out well. I, personally, was impressed with the online order station. The employees were very friendly and easy to work with. No complaints!

  This is an excellent place to shop for unique high quality woodworking and gardening tools. The staff are very knowledgeable as well. I could spend hours here looking at everything on offer.
