  Premium prices for premium convenience, there are cheaper places a few blocks away. But decent big brewery options, there's a decent white wine, all the quick self-prepared frozen and add hot water meals, AND you can get keys cut if the male owner is there.

  There are definitely cheaper places to grab depanneur beer, but this one is the closest to the Portage Bridge. You pay for convenience. Plan a bit ahead, unless you like spending $16 on a 4-pack (4*500ml) of Heineken. Reasonably decent beer selection, and if you aren't price sensitive, the convenience can't be beat.
