  Pretty much what you would expect. But I'm pretty sure they put mayo or ranch in their guac? Don't get it.

  Great experience. We were sat upstairs in the bar/ lounge area and I loved the atmosphere. Our server awesome. She was very friendly and attentive. I wasn't overly hungry so ended up ordering the bruschetta for dinner which was delicious

  My waitress was nice and prompt, especially when I mentioned I had a train to catch. Super friendly, and she was also cute. They tailor to food allergies like Shellfish and Nuts.

  My experiences at jack Astor's have always been fine that I've never found the need to go online and comment. However, after eating at this location im definitely not planning on coming back here. Staff was nice, but when it was time for food that's when everything went south. My partner and I both ordered the new tacos (chicken). It took a little bit of time but that's fine, atleast I know it's going to come out fresh. I get the tacos and next thing you know it's beef. Both my partner and my order got messed up. So we let the server know he apologized and went back to correct it. In the meantime we waited about another 15 minutes only to get the correct tacos but this time the tortilla itself was Burned...someone else from the kitchen actually thought it would be okay to serve it to us until our server walked by and immediately noticed it without us even saying a word. He apologized and took them back. So by now I'm getting impatient and I'm hungry. I've been here well over an hour and no food. They brought the food out the THIRD time and it was still burnt. I was so mad I just ate the food and didn't even want to send it back. The server said manager would come out and talk to us but that never happened. Now I know where I'm taking my business next time I'm hungry..and that's definitely not gonna be jack Astor's.

  Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Managers who care. Service was a bit slow (but I did see a few larger parties). But if you have an hour before a movie at the Scotiabank theatre, already have the tickets & reserved seats at the movie (or don’t care where you’ll sit), this place works. (Also close enough that one person can run to grab the tickets while the other(s) hold down the table while waiting for food to arrive)
