::I first attended Iam Yoga a couple years back through a Groupon promotion. I was a little overwhelmed at first as it was my first experience practicing yoga publicly. That feeling changed quickly the more classes I took. The instructors are all so kind, talented and really care about your well being! After taking a bit of a break from yoga, I came back as an energy exchange student and the experience was fantastic! I really got to experience yoga on a new level and get more involved in the Iam Yoga community. I have met lots of wonderful like-minded people and my whole experience has lead me to join the Yoga Teacher training they offer :) I highly encourage everyone to give Iam yoga a chance and to also try to come in on off-peak hours. It can get busy in the evening, but that just shows how great of a place it is! The studio has lots of different teachers and classes to explore so try as much as you can to get the best experience!

::I have been to Iam Yoga Midtown many times and have always had an amazing experience here. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and the staff are very knowledgable. All the instructors are amazing at their craft, and are always willing to help.

::I do like the yoga teachers. They are really nice and professional. However will never recommend the studio to anyone because of the bad customer service. I felt insulted after talking to the front desk staff who claim that she is the manager. I bought a 10 classes groupon and wanted to give this yoga studio a try. I came in today and was told that my groupon expired already. I wasn't informed that I have only 2 months to finish the 10 classes. The staff kept saying that the term was stated on groupon website and you were assumed that you should know this information. If you treat me as your customer the information should be given when I register and should be available online. And I didn't receive any notice from you. I feel super uncomfortable when the staff said: "Your groupon expired and I can't let you in for free." What do you mean take the class for free? I paid for 10 classes. If you think about it from a customer's point of view, what will you feel like when you hear this kind of words. So disappointed. I was gonna buy the monthly/yearly pass after the 10 classes but won't come back to this place again. Update on this issue: I actually left this review on google first. I thought you guys might use fb more frequently so I left the review on Facebook after. I don't know why you think the review is "unwarranted". These is no offence and I wasn't being rude. As you can see I did leave a good comment for the teachers. But I was very disappointed at the attribute of the front desk staff. Again I want to clarify that this is not about I am asking you guys to extend my groupon for another month. That is done and I understand the policy. The issue here is about the way I was being treated as a customer. You sent your customer away after signing her in and said the words in front of everyone: I can't let you in for free. That really embarrassed me so I think you still owe an apology of what happened yesterday. If the staff could have explained in a nice way then I would have understand.

::An excellent variety of yoga practices for all levels to experience. At one point they had a teacher giving classes entirely in Sanskrit. The staff is courteous and the prices reasonable. They usually offer fairly decent introductory offers if you're new and want to try them out.
