  Great location, Friendly extremely helpful staff, I loved the nice breakfasts and altogether cozy atmosphere. The rooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable and the staff was willing to store my huge suitcase in a storage room (-: I loved every minute and enjoyed much more than the fancy hotels I stayed with a week before in Boston Ma and DC. On top of that we had beautiful 2 guided tours with Sami a volunteer whom with we extremely enjoyed a tour to Granville Island and Stanley Park. Thanks Sami (-:

  Nice hostel, the entrance is on the right side of the building. They have several activities in each day. Staff are friendly and the place is really clean.

  Used to think this was a quality place ... , and it really used to be ! Now they've caught the Heimbag bug. Even as a member I was recently overcharged and treated like a chump. Stay away from this place ! Pretending a 30$ dorm room bed is worth 45$ is absolutely laughable ; especially when a member price is 35$ Tops !!! Far from a hotel , not even close , yet trying to charge like one. There are better deals in Van. Edmonton and Toronto run decent HI at realistic prices , but these clowns in Van are a joke !!! Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else !

  Good place to stay for a short while. When I went it was not busy so didn’t matter what tine you went for breakfast and there was always a shower free. Good common areas and good place to meet other travellers.

  Your standard Canadian HI hostel. Clean, simple and cheap. Each room has 4 bunk beds and a locker that you can lock with your own lock. There are no bathrooms in the rooms so you'll have to walk into the hallway and look for a free one and that can sometimes be annoying. The kitchen of this hostel is great and so is its breakfast. Guests can cook their own food there on a real stove.
