  As a woman I often worry that I will be taken advantage of by service shops, especially when I have not even a slim idea of what is wrong with my vehicle. Gregory took it for a drive and brought it in the shop for a full inspection. They diagnosed the issue and sent me to the properly specialty shop because it would be quicker and cheaper for that shop to fix it for me. They did not charge me for the time they spent looking at my vehicle and built my confidence in their services. My vehicle was fixed by the other shop quickly and very affordably. Thank you Gregory K and Son.

  By far the most reliable honest and helpful shop in Sudbury. This guy doesn't rip you off and won't do unnessary work. He is super great with students and generally a very trusting atmosphere. Greg's son is ok too lol.

  On October 23rd, 2017 I went to Gregory K & Son. My car had been in an accident and the collision centre that I was going to use said that this mechanic was great and would provide a good idea of what needs to be fixed under the hood. After hearing such great things, I took my car over to have it looked at and they took the car right away which was great! While I was waiting for the verdict, I asked the person at the counter how much an oil change would be, just for reference as I had recently moved to Sudbury and didn't have any connections yet. The person's response was, "for your car, $55 minimum." That was red flag number one for me. I understand some variance based on the amount of oil a car needs, etc. but I've been getting my oil and filters changed for $30 + tax for YEARS. This shop's pricing seemed like they wanted to take advantage of a young woman that was by herself. While I was sitting in their waiting area, I suddenly heard a sawing sound and got very nervous. About 10 minutes later, the mechanic comes over to me and says that I should just scrap the car because it's not worth fixing it. He then told me that he cut off a piece of my front grille because it was "flapping around". Let me just say that they DID NOT ask my permission before cutting up my front grille. That is just unacceptable. Secondly, the piece that he cut was NOT "flapping around" as I already had 3 different guys pulling, poking, and prodding at the damaged area and all 3 had said that I was safe and nothing would move. The level of professionalism and respect for my consent was appalling and I will never be going back here again. If you want your car to be treated like a piece of scrap metal, then this is the place for you!
