  This store has the best stuff! Little it of everything even though it's centered around cooking. Amazing curated selection of books ranging from cooking to travel and even graphic novels! Beautiful store, definitely step inside and see what you can find.

  I mean, this place! A cookbook lovers dream, a foodie paradise, a knick-knacker's hub, a magazine aficionado's Mecca. If you like a) food b) eating c) reading about food and eating, check it out. It's a little spendy, but for a gift or a splurge (for yourself or someone you like), this place is great.

  Earlier today I tried to purchase a gift certificate from Good Egg in Kensignton. It's my friends favourite store and I travelled across the city to purchase a hundred dollar certificate for their birthday. They said they were out of them. And there was nothing they could do. I explained that I had travelled pretty far and my friend would be mighty disappointed and that this was their favourite store. I asked if there was no way to accomodate this request, nah sorry. Too bad. Needless to say I won't be back.

  I think this is the only cookbook-store in the city (or at least one of few). The sheer variety of titles in the shop is alluring enough, but the staff are also knowledgeable and very helpful. I will often go in looking for a specific book, then will come out with a few additional buys that are totally unrelated! Last time I walked out with a candy-making book that I am excited to start using.

  The young woman helping us was terrific. She helped us choose several gifts, offered to wrap them up for us, and suggested a great place for us to enjoy a coffee while she did all this!
