::Best place in the island to buy Japanese cooking materials. They also happen to have delicious Sushi and other dishes available for cheap. Will be going back every time I'm in Victoria.

::This is the only Japanese grocer in town that I know of. And their sushi is competitive with (or better than) the best restaurants in town. Sushi places in Victoria change pretty rapidly but in my 10 years in town it's been true.
Rod Miller
::It's small, cramped and very busy! Lots of choices of both Japanese groceries and of course the sushi and other food to go is why so many flock here. The place is great. Love going here!
Rob Hehr
::Not a huge sushi fan, but it's pretty much the cheapest possible takeout food in Victoria. A california roll big enough to fill me up is like 3.25 here. Great staff too.

::I love going here for the efficiency and price. I grabbed a spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, an iced tea and some shredded squid (around $16). The rolls are too big to fit in my mouth, but I do it anyways because I like to look the part while I'm eating in my car in the parking lot. The parking lot is super convenient, especially if you back into your spot (for those smooth getaways, and for the view while you're stuffing your face)
