::Rooms and service are very good. The pool/exercise area was my favorite feature. There was fruit, coffee and lemon water available for guests using those facilities along with some nice touches like cool face cloths. My only real complaint was that the hide-a-bed was a bit uncomfortable. I would also like to note that breakfast at the Yew restaurant was quite expensive for small portions of food. All in all a very good experience right in the heart of Vancouver close to most of the major downtown sites.

::Great stay. Very helpful staff. Decent room. Comfortable, if a bit dated. I forgot some key toiletries and the staff were very accommodating. The gym was a great bonus and well outfitted.

::I made reservations at Yew to celebrate some birthdays. The restaurant is located in the Four Seasons. It's beautifully designed with high ceilings, soft lighting, fireplace, etc that sets a lovely ambiance. The menu is quite robust with seafood being the main theme. The price point is on the higher end, but this to me was expected as the hotel is upscale. The service was amazing. We had one minor issue with an item we ordered and I mentioned it in passing to our server. I didn't expect anything to come of it, but our server presented us with a couple of extra desserts and an apology. My party had a wonderful dining experience. I would highly recommend Yew for a special night out.

::I stayed here for 1 week. It was an exceptional hotel! From the moment i checked in the service was fantastic! The room service should also be commended. I was sick during my visit and room service noticed the amount of tissues I was using and so dropped off 2 more boxes every time my room was clean. The services the hotel offered was of a high standard. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

::I spent 3 nights at the Four Seasons, and prior to my trip, I was quite excited to start at this "5-star" hotel. However, reality see in when I arrived and I found it no more special than any regular 4-star hotel, like a Marriott, Westin, or Hyatt. The rooms were nicely appointed, the staff was great, and the food was good. But nothing at all stood out that made this property special - or even adequate of a 5-star rating. Maybe my expectations were set too high, but I really was expecting more. Aside from that, the entire hotel was extremely warm. Sure, it was cool outside, but I felt like I couldn't get my room below 78 degrees F. The air conditioning must have been shut of for the season, because the common areas and my colleagues' rooms were also hot, even with the thermostat set as low as it would go. It was so warm that I had trouble sleeping every night. I ended up on top of the covers and waking up constantly, sweating. Now I realize that for some people, 78 degrees would be no problem, but I cannot sleep if it's much more than 72 (65 is preferable for me). The fact that I essentially couldn't even choose the temperature that I wanted my room at because there air conditioning was turned off just seemed ridiculous at a hotel of this caliber. Next time, I'll stay at the Hyatt down the street where I know what to expect and can keep my room what I seem as a comfortable temperature for me.
