::Sketchy part of town. Questionable people that attend - a lot of stalker type older men. Staff was incredibly friendly but the crowd put me a little on edge

::The layout is well thought out and the music is always lit. Bathroom lines tend to get very long though.

::While Fortune is the ideal Vancouver venue for hip hip shows, any other type of concert or performance tends to suffer a bit. The layout can make shows feel very intimate if the performer is using the mic on the edge of the stage, or it can feel closed off if they're a DJ with the table further back. The drink menu involves $9 PBR cans and doubles that will require breaking a 50, while coat check runs another $4 and requires separately checking an umbrella. If I don't love an umbrella, I just end up chucking it in the corner when I go to Fortune.
