  I would recommend this vet clinic. They have always been kind compassionate and caring toward my dog. The vet has always explained procedures and /or alternatives. Prices are expensive but what vet clinic in Winnipeg isn't?

  I went to Fort Garry Veterinary for a second opinion on the condition of my dog Bailey. Unfortunately they confirmed what I already knew (but hoped I was wrong) and that Bailey was not going to get better. They were very forthcoming with information and compassion. They were supportive of the decision that had to be made. As my daughter told me Bailey is in "doggy heaven" and I appreciated their support, assistance and compassion.

  Love this vet!!! The staff are very friendly and helpful and the prices are at par for what you'd pay at other clinics. Whenever I bring my fur baby to the clinic, they always try to make him feel special. A special shout out goes to the two cat-ceptionists! Best greeters in the business!

  My dog has always received great care here. The staff has never talked down to me, assuming I know nothing, or tried to puff up an explanation with unnecessary jargon. I've never felt pressured to pay for treatment or medicine my dog didn't need. I think my dog likes it at FGVH, too; every time we drive by on Pembina, she gets very excited and her tail almost wags right off her rear end! Considering she's had an eye surgery and lots of vaccinations and still loves going back...pretty high praise from the canine client who would know best.
