  As a receptionist at Esplanade Dental Centre we do our best to make sure patients are fully informed of the cost of work they are going to have. There are always two sides to every story. It is unfortunate when patients do not pay for services received. It is ultimately the patient's responsibility to know their insurance plan and what services are covered . This is true for every dental office.

  I was with Dr Osborn for over twenty years and very happy but after being transferred to Dr Decamilles I have been billed for work done that they claimed was covered by my insurance. But due to the poor communication in the office they continue d to preform uninsured work even after I instructed them not to do any work that was not covered. After complaining and negotiating we came to an agreed amount which I paid at the time but 6 months later I have received another bill for the balance and they claim they didn’t agree to anything. DON’T TAKE THEM AT THEIR WORD THEY WILL CLAIM YOU ARE WRONG IF YOU DONT HAVE IT IN WRITING. Which was my mistake! My best advice would be to not even consider working with them as the work that was done was very painful afterward and took months to stop hurting. I still have sensitive areas and am unable to chew properly or bite an apple with it fear of breaking off my front teeth. I miss Dr Osborn!
