::We ate at this location yesterday for my friends birthday dinner. Service was terrible! I had the build your own pasta and ordered the soup as an appetizer. Good thing I was with friends who noticed there was a hair in my soup. I returned it and got a new soup. My poor friend has dietary restrictions because of her allergies. She told the server before ordering. They had to return her salad as soon as it arrived. Then she had to return her main course pasta because the sauce contained milk. Once they brought in the second plate, they gave her what was practically uncooked spaghetti instead of the bowtie pasta she had asked for. At this point she was hungry and was just going to eat the awful meal as it was when my other friend let the waitress know how bad it was. The spaghetti was still stuck together because it was so uncooked. The waitress took it back. By the time she finally got her meal my friend and I were almost finished ours. The waitress was great in finding an alternative dessert for her though. The other girl and I had three donuts which were pretty bland in taste I think we each ate only one. They had a whipped cream dipping sauce with cocoa I think in it. It looked delicious but as soon as we ate it. We noted how disgusting it tasted at the same time! It was an awful experience all around the food wasn't good at all. I feel like I could have cooked a better meal myself! The drinks were good and one of the waitresses was really nice. Never eating at this place again!

::Great service and spacious seating! Place was clean and had a cozy atmosphere. I built my own pasta, but my boyfriend got the pizza for the same price. The pizza portion was larger and seems like a better deal, but I still enjoyed the pasta! Great for groups or for couples - accommodating seating for any amount of people. There’s a lot of great options for kids - $2 meals on select days with a purchase of 15.99 or more! Would come again for the unlimited soup/salad and bread.

::If I could give no star I would. Waitress was horrible, she didn't seem to like her job and got very frustrated when asked for a refill of the unlimited salad. She did not bring me a child menu, kept forgetting things and seemed to stay away from our table. The food wasn't that great either. Ordered the spinach dip and was quite disappointed, VERY small portion and barely enough to cover half of the pita bread that comes with it. Pasta that my daughter had was bland and she didn't eat more than two bites at most. Will not be returning.

::Went to this location yesterday and the service was horrible. The waitress was annoyed that my friends and I were sharing a pizza (which included the all you can eat bread and salad option). She gave us a small bowl of salad and never came back for a refill. She never once asked if we needed a refill on our drinks. It was obvious she was ignoring us because we weren’t spending a lot of money on drinks and individual meals. She was “training” a new girl and didn’t even let her help. After sitting at our table with empty dishes for 30 minutes a gentleman came to take our stuff away. When she finally came over to see us, she asked us in a rude manner if we would like to share dessert. When we said we were full she looked at us like we were crazy and reluctantly brought over the machine. She conveniently decided to stand and watch my friend pay for the meal (in order to ensure she got a tip). Her customer service was highly unprofessional. She was unpleasant the moment she realized it was not going to be an expensive bill. We will never be going back to this location and everyone else shouldn’t waste their time either. This experience reaffirms why we haven’t been to East side Mario’s in years.

::I took my family of 3 here for a late lunch on a Saturday (13:30). The resto was almost empty... Two parties if 10 or so near the bar and a few tables of two or three people, but the section to the right of the outside entrance to the mall entrance was empty. We were not greeted for 5 minutes, and while our server arrived and took our order quickly, it took a very long time to arrive (30+ minutes for two *lunch special* mains and a kids meal). When it did, the adults' meals arrived before my child's meal, and the steamed vegetables in the kids meal were cold. More precisely, they had a steamed exterior and frozen inside. Our server was helpful and did her best to take care of us while we waited, and offered to replace the still-cold veg, but we declined as we didn't want to wait for another extended period. As others have mentioned, this restaurant does not participate in the SCENE points program, which is disappointing. The food was mediocre (to be expected, but I had forgotten this and was thus disappointed) and overpriced, and the meal took far too long for a family with a hungry toddler. I won't be going back.
