  I dropped a friend off at the hotel late at night. It seemed like a nice place. The security guard on the grounds was very nice.

  I was traveling with a group of middle school students for a meet in Thunder Bay and we spent 2 nights there. The welcome from the front desk and the help to accommodate and coordinate the arrival of a second school group whose plane was delayed. Bedroom are clean, spacious and have very comfortable beds and plenty of pillows of varying firmness. Included breakfast was OK. Overall a great stay.

  Nice clean room, comfy beds, more selection at breakfast than we anticipated. Terrific spot for an overnight visit.

  Room was clean, hotel looks new or newly renovated. Bathroom immaculate. Front desk staff helpful suggesting restaurant options and local entertainment. A lovely stay...would stay here again.

  The only reason I give them any stars is the housekeeping staff, a great team, courteous and pleasant! Just for them I would stay anytime! BUT - when I called to make the reservation I requested a main floor room, which I was assured I would get. The individual on the telephone has a tone to her voice that says "you are pretty stupid aren't you?" When we arrived at the hotel we DID NOT have first floor room as reserved. This is not the first time I have requested first floor and not gotten it. Front Desk staff definitely need to be trained in Guest Services!
