::clean , friendly staff. close to downtown and free morning meal. if you have to stay in hamilton, i recommand this place

::It offers a decent place to sleep if you need a place to meet someone or are just passing through town. There is cable, 24 hour front desk service, a well light lobby, parking & a complimentary breakfast but my room smelt funny & the shower was not proper. If you are looking for a comfortable & affordable this is your catch. If you are looking for the ritz keep looking haha.

::I arrived at the Hamilton Days Inn on Sunday, April 8th for a duration of 2 nights. Sunday was uneventful. I had a full day on Monday and left the hotel about 8:45 am. On my way out I stopped at the desk and informed the clerk that I would be gone most of the day and that housekeeping could go into my room whenever they were ready. I arrived back to my room at 4:45 pm and imagine my shock when I opened the door and my room had not been entered or done. The bed was unmade, I had no clean and dry towels. no kleenex, and no soap or shampoo. I went to the front desk and inquired as to why and got not answer other than "your room was marked no service." When I asked why that was she could not give me any explanation. She did bring me the towels to my room. I left again at 6 to attend a concert at Hamilton Place and arrived back to my hotel at about 10:30 pm. I go to my door and find that the key won't work and I can't get in, so back to the front desk to have a new key programmed so I could actually get inside and get ready for bed. This is not the first time that I have stayed there, but you can bet I will not stay there again. I was not offered a partial refund, a possible credit for another stay, or even an apology!! SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!!!! Lousy customer service.

::Good location though rooms and accommodation all felt cheap. From appliances to carpeting to lobby. Expect a little more from a reputable place like Holiday Inn. The staff was nice which helped but don't think I'd stay again.
