::Everything in this store is overpriced. I was looking at a few small pieces of silver jewelry, with no precious metals or stones in them, and they wanted over $300 for each little piece. I was further disappointed to learn that the owner was completely unwilling to negotiate the price. The funny thing is she has TONES of merchandise. The store is overflowing (which actually makes it very difficult to shop). You'd think with that amount of jewelry she would want to move some of it for a fair price. It seems like their business model is to hold firm to their outrageous prices and wait for customers with more money than sense.

::I would happily recommend Cynthia Findlay. They helped my girlfriend and I pick out an engagement ring and happily talked us through all the rings we wanted to look at and were happy to help us for as long as we needed them to. The staff were great and Katherine was wonderful in helping us pick the ring. Once we had made the purchase they even took pictures for us and emailed them as keepsakes for the day. I couldn’t have been happier with experience.

::I could not recommend Cynthia Findlay Antiques highly enough to do it justice. Despite being on quite a small student budget, the associate that helped me, Liz, diligently searched with me to find a stunning 100+ year old gold-filled locket that was less than half of my initial budget. She also spent a good long while with me mixing and matching chains for it, and even went through the trouble of polishing my modest choice of a darkened old brass chain until it was brighter than any of the gold ones we'd looked at. The chain itself probably cost less than the time she spent working on it, so it was an especially nice gesture. Liz took the time to help me look through some wonderful rings too, and excitedly explained all of the styles and cuts that I asked about, along with the era they came from. She quickly came to understand the style I was looking for, and pointed out a ring that I was instantly enamoured with. Honestly, it was perfect. I'm completely blown away by the quality of service I received here.

::Amazing antique store filled to the brim with smalls. It is hard to believe this is not a multi-vendor place, there is so much stuff. It is also quite well organized - one cabinet full of royal coronation cups and mugs. One cabinet full of animal figurines - each shelf arranged with one animal (so a Royal Albert dog will be sitting next to a Royal Derby dog, while the shelf below might have rabbits). China, cutlery, figurines, vases, lamps, jewellery, art.... incredible place.
