  Shop here all the time. Given the neighbourhood and the grief the locals must put them through, the staff is surprisingly warm and helpful. By the same token, they take things like ID and theft very seriously. It's a liquor store a block and a half from the bad part of Hastings--come correct or go buy your bottle in West Van.

  good selection of wine, beer and spirits. not in the best area of town but great for your needs. a couple of pizza places down the street for a quick bite.

  closing 5 mins earlly? get mad at costumer.. worst place to buy liqure....
