    READ THIS BEFORE RENTING IN MONTREAL/HAMILTON HOUSE AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS OF SEARCHING WHAT GOOD I CAN SAY ABOUT CLV, CLV CAME UP WITH ANOTHER TOP FAIL WHICH I’LL HAVE TO SHARE. A GUY FROM THE MANAGEMENT CALLED ME ON FRIDAY ASKING ME TO VERIFY MY TELEPHONE NUMBER ( HE CALLED ME ON THE SAME NUMBER HE WAS VERIFYING – CONFIRMED MY IDENTITY AND WAS STILL ASKING ME IF THIS IS MY NUMBER……). ANYWAY, APPARENTLY THAT WAS JUST A TRICK FOR WHAT WAS COMING. WITH A HAPPY VOICE HE ASKED ME TO LEAVE THE BUILDING NOW AND I’LL GET ONE MONTH FREE??????!!!!!!???? WHAAAAAAAT. THAT WAS AND MY REACTION – WHAAAAAAAAAT. SO HE STARTED AGAIN – CLV OFFERS YOU TO LEAVE NOW AND YOU’LL GET ONE MONTH FREE BECAUSE NOW THE BUSY SEASON STARTS AND THEY DON’T HAVE ENOUGH APARTMENTS IN THE BUILDING. WHAAAAAAAAAT???!!!!! I WAS IN SHOCK, SO HE REPEATED THIS LIKE 4-5 TIMES. I TOLD HIM THAT I LIVE HERE FOR MANY YEARS AND JUST SIGNED NEW CONTRACT WITH THEM, AND THEY WERE EXTREMELY HAPPY ABOUT THIS. I ASKED HIM – DO YOU SEE THAT IN YOUR SYSTEM. HE CONFIRMED. THEN I ASKED – WHY THE HECK YOU ARE HUMILIATING ME IN SUCH MANNER. I’M PAYING ALWAYS IN TIME, I’M QUIET ETC. TOLD HIM TO TAKE THIS OFFER AND TO PUT IN A DARK PLACE AND TO NOT BOTHER ME ANY MORE. SO CLV GROUP WANTS ALL OLD TENANTS TO GO AWAY SO THEY CAN PUT NEW PEOPLE ON 200-300$ HIGHER RENT. THEY DID THE SAME IN THEIR OTHER BUILDINGS IN THE SAME AREA. I’VE NEVER FELT SO HUMILIATED AND I CAN SUGGEST TO THIS CARELESS MANAGEMENT INSTEAD OF HUMILIATING THEIR TENANTS TO START WATCHING AFTER THE DOGS POOPING AND PISSING THE ELEVATORS AND AROUND THE WALL CORNERS. ALSO, TO PAY ATTENTION TO THEIR EMPLOYEES WHO PARK IN THE INDOOR PARKING AND ARE BLOCKING THE TENANT CARS WITH THEIR OWNS. BUT NO ONE CAN TELL THEM NOTHING COS THE WORK FOR THE GREAT CLV GROUP. THAT ALL… AND YES, I’LL PUT THIS REVIEW EVERYWHERE I CAN. THANK YOU FOR READING. OLD REVIEW FOLLOWS: NEW GUYS, REMEMBER THIS BUILDING NAME: HAMILTON HOUSE, MONTREAL, AND STAY AWAY FROM IT. CARELESS MANAGEMENT. THEY CARE ONLY WHEN TAKE YOUR MONEY. 24/H EMERGENCY SERVICE. WHAT A JOKE. RENOVATIONS..... THEY WILL FIX THE POOL AND WII DO A GYM-GREAT. EVERYTHING ELSE IS A NIGHTMARE FOR WHICH WE/YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY. NEW FACE-LIFT RENOVATION STARTED JUST FOR 2 WEEKS THEY SAID. IT'S OVER A MONTH AND WE DON'T SEE THE END. RUINED SUMMER AS WE CANNOT STAND THE CONSTRUCTION NOISE AND CANNOT USE OUR BALCONIES. AND FOR WHAT??? FOR PAINTED BALCONIES??? AND A BIT OF CEMENT??? COME AND SEE MY BALCONIES IS LIKE AFTER A SHOOTING IN GAZA. WHOLES, WHOLES WHOLES BUT PAINTED HAHAHAHA. LAST WEEK THE CONSTRUCTION GUYS STARTED TO CUT SOMETHING METAL INSIDE MY APARTMENT FROM OUTSIDE AND STARTED A FIRE. MY CURTAINS WERE ON FIRE. THE FIRE ALARM SWITCHED ON. I STARTED TO SHOUT LIKE CRAZY TO STOP BUT GUY OUTSIDE SAID THAT HE KNOWS AND HE DOESN'T CARE. HE SHOWED ME A FINGER AND CONTINUED TO SAW/CUT. I SAVED MY APARTMENT BUT IF I WAS NOT AT HOME IMAGINE. COMPLAINS.... THEY DON'T CARE. YOU ARE FREE TO LEAVE. THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT FROM THE OLD TENANTS SO THEY CAN JUST IMPORT NEW ONES ON 300$ BIGGER RENT. THIS WHAT THEY DONE ON KINGSLEY, ON TRENT AND NOW HERE ON HAMILTON. AND THERE IS MORE IF SOMEONE WANT'S TO KNOW. SO REMEMBER STAY AWAY FROM HAMILTON BUILDING. LET'S SEE IF THEY WILL DELETE MY POST. I'LL PUT ANOTHER ONE NEXT TIME WITH PICTURES.

    We were able to move in to a lovely townhouse recently. Nick was essential to the process and was available to us for every step of the way. This is even more impressive as the application process started right before New Year's Eve. Nick went out of his way to be available to us and keep us updated. This went beyond our expectations of customer service. We really appreciated how much time he dedicated to answering our many questions prior and during the transaction. He even made sure we had all the contact information of the other individuals that would eventually be contacting us. Excellent service! Benjamin was one of the administrators that set us up once everything was approved. He was very efficient and responded to any questions we had very quickly. He was considerate of our needs and is so polite. We moved in quite quickly and certain things needed to be fixed around the house. We were afraid that since we had already signed the lease the work would not get done or be delayed. This was not the case! Sean the property manager came to the rescue and immediately schedule Kyle the fantastic handyman to come and fix our issues. We were so grateful and surprised that the service continued to be so wonderful. Kyle didn't just patch things, he took the time to fix things properly. We really appreciated his work. Sean was also quick to respond to our emails and resolved our issues within 24hrs or less. What service!!! We are so happy we chose CLV group. Thank you!

    Me and my girlfriend lived at 2460 southvale crescent for 3 years and enjoyed our stay. The building itself is well maintained (very clean) and the staff is very nice and accommodating. I don't usually post reviews but when we left they were so good to us I just had to write something. Special thanks to Roda and Gerry who work there.

    I don't rent here but just wanted to comment. The customer service is very poor. I have been simply trying to arrange a viewing for a unit listed on their website and it has been incredibly difficult. Calling their resident number listed, I never get an answer. When I did one time, someone said something inaudible, yelled at me, and hung up. This was the correct number since it said thank you for calling CLV Group. I've e-mailed many times about various properties actually and have only gotten a response once, which said, "We'll get back to you." Never did.

    My husband and I had a fantastic experience working with CLV Group to find our new home in Ottawa! We contacted CLV when we were moving from another province, which could have been very stressful. Richard, our customer care consultant, gave us an extremely personalized experience and did not pressure us to make any decisions. He listened to our needs, made excellent suggestions and helped us find an apartment in record time. The apartment we ended up getting was one that Richard suggested when it became available last-minute and perfectly reflected our needs, showing us that he really knew what we were looking for. We would both strongly recommend CLV Group to anyone who is looking for a positive and stress-free experience!
