  Great fun for my 3 year old. Staff is polite while kids play with all the toys.

  Unfortunately the service last time, on Friday the 16th, was horrible. My girlfriend and her friend went to buy 2 lates and they got food poisoning. This happened around 8 pm. The lady who made the drink maybe use expired milk, the fact is both the them experienced the same symptoms, which bad stomach for almost a weeks time. Not to mention on top of that, no one called for the drink or mentioned they are ready or even a gesture to indicate that "these are your drinks, they are ready for pick up". Now all being said, i hope this was a one off bad experience and that's all.

  I always visit this location when visiting Thunder Bay. After months in the North, its just nice to relax in a good bookstore. Lots of parking available. Easy to access other retail stores. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

  This is a new rating based on one interaction. I thought this store was promoting a great Canadian author in Ms. Atwood, but in actuality it was only to promote sales. I was told I could not bring down a used copy of her book to sign, unless I had a receipt. I read books, I do not read and keep my receipts for books. I was also told I could get my old copy signed if I bought a new book, and then returned the new book later. No thanks.
