::*This review is based on custom a custom donut order* My girlfriend placed an order for custom donuts. She was told she would receive confirmation within 48 hours of pickup, she did not. Luckily we went in and they were ready (we had no way of knowing other than just showing up and hoping). She ordered lettered vegan vanilla bean and we received classic flavored donuts instead (hopefully those were vegan). Not worth the $40+ she spent. Would have been better off walking in asking for vanilla bean and knowing we were for sure going to get what she was wanting. The donuts in store are great but I would not recommend ordering custom donuts for a special occasion. Not a smooth or professional experience and left us very disappointed.

::Super amazing donuts that will have you coming back over and over again. Lots of interesting flavors like London Fog and Smoked Apple Walnut. Great service from super friendly staff! I literally go there every time I'm in Vancouver.

::This is a great donut shop located very close to the Waterfront train station in downtown Vancouver. They have a good selection of vegan donuts and also any gluten free donuts. They are definitely artisanal style donuts and are very tasty. They also serve coffee and other drinks. They use organic ingredients whenever possible and many are even locally sourced. It's definitely worth a stop. I loved them so much I carted a box on the plane with me all the way home.

::Finally made my way to Cartems Donuts. Ordered 3 donuts Price $10.75 The Smoked Maple walnut donut was extremely salty?? I guess maybe their "special spices" might need a tad bit less salt. Tropical Pom on the other hand was very sweet. The other donut ordered was the London Fog. Which I can not base my review on since I did not taste. To be honest I only ate the Tropical Pom and had one bite of the Smoked Maple. The one bite was enough since the salt was that over powering. The location being on West Pender and that whole area is well how can I put this nicely umm run down. Unfortunately there are very few places in the downtown area that offer home-made donuts. I was in the area so I decided to stop and try. I have had better and considerably less expensive donuts before. How does that public enemy song go.. . don't believe the hype.
