::Okay store, staff were nice. The isle are so cramped and you can't reach products on high shelves. You bump into someone every second, especially with a shopping cart. They should probably take a shelf or two out so there is room to move around

::Forever a returning customer, I love this place! Great store with a huge selection of products and always have what I'm looking for to do repairs on my van. Very knowledgeable staff on hand always ready to help.

::Do not bring your car to this Canadian Tire -especially if you're female. They will talk down to you and try to charge you for work that doesn't need to be done. If I could give them 0stars I would. I went in for a quote to have my back brakes done as I had just bought the parts. The man at the counter put $107 in the quote for the parking brake even after I said it was fine..I have a 2012 Kua soul with 71000. He proceeded to lie to me as to why it had to be checked. I guess they had to make up for the price they would have charged me for the parts. I contacted corporate and spoke with the manager. They say he made a mistake they even stated that he didn't look my car up in the system - however all my info is on the quote because I've been there before. I called my dealership they said that they'd do the brakes for $210.. the quote was for $328 at Canadian Tire. After talking with the manager he dropped it to $186. I have a bad feeling that all my brakes will be tampered with if I bring them in now. Don't take your car's there especially if you're a woman. They will try to rip you off. If something happens tweet their corporate get the word out there. This store is dangerous

::This morning I had a 7:30am oil change appointment. I made it the first appointment of the day because I have to be in Barrie for 10:15am- about an hour 15 min drive. I figured that even though it usually takes 30 mins for an oil change, even if for some bizarre reason it takes a full hour, I will make my appointment in Barrie on time. At 8:30am, a full hour later, I went to ask if they knew the status of my car, and the staff member said they would check for me. I went back into the waiting room and heard the staff discussing the fact that if their employee had not been late, my car would have been done faster. Around 8:50am I was called to pay because my car was complete. I asked why it took so long and was told that the second staff member started later this morning and if they had started earlier in the morning, my car would have been done on time. I was not offered an apology. It is safe to assume that if someone makes their appointment for 7:30am, it is because they have places to be and needed to be out early. In no way is this okay. An oil change should never take a few minutes short of an hour and a half. My appointment was for 7:30am. I should have been out of there by 8:15 at the latest. I would have loved to sleep in longer too, but I had an appointment so I arrived on time. Why are staff not scheduled for the appointments that are made? Why are they not showing up? Why is the customer the only one to suffer repercussions? This is disgraceful and it should not be taken lightly. I expect to be contacted by the owner of this location (as I see that they do reply to reviews). If I had not already been there for an hour and a half, and already very late for my day, I would have asked to speak to a manager. I feel completely disgusted in the situation this morning. I respected the staff's time by arriving as scheduled. How dare the employees disrespect my time in such a way, and not even offer me an apology. Accept responsibility for your actions and make this right.

::After reading a few reviews good and not so good I want to share our experience in getting new tires for our car. After selecting the tires the day before and doing ALL the paperwork we showed up for our appointment 20 Min before .To our surprise after the sales person went over ALL the paperwork again our car was taking in right away . It was our choice to wait and knew it would take some time. The mechanic was finished and we were told by the sales person it would be a couple of minutes to do ALL the paperwork. After 20 Min we were still waiting. We know the sales people are busy but with everything computerized one feels it should not take that long to pay. Maybe an extra person on Staff would help the situation
