Administration is very disrespectful of cunning. Don't waste your money on them.

  Two weeks of being here and we're already regretting it, calling the regie du logement and the police. Everything will look good at the beginning, but after you signed your lease, you'll realize why they put so much emphasis in "infection is responsibility of tenants", "smoke detectors too" because there is no way you can turn on the stove without it making sound. The air extractor in the kitchen doesn't work. There is no thermostat in the whole apartment.. guess why? because there is no way of regulating temperature. Anyway is october/november and the heating does not work at all. They will refuse to receive you in person, will ask you to send mails to repairs or call, but you will freeze before getting any results, and in such an old building, changing the pipelines would take 6 months, so they will never make it. We bought two oil heaters and let the stove open, but is not enough to heat the apartment, because there is too much humidity. Some of the windows are single layer and there is a constant air current that reaches your head while you try to sleep. Look at the floor plans with the elevators almost inside the apartments. There are two noises, one from the old elevator system, running all night intermittently, the other coming from a fan at the top of the building that distributes vibrations all over the place. After you signed, you are lost in a legal battle that will take longer than your bail.

  Really bad company ! I had to go twice at la Regie du Logement. Major Bed Bugs issue, they are rude, impolite and do not care of their tenants. They do not clean their buildings, it has not been renovated for ages, it very noisy and they do not anything about that. This company cares about one thing: YOUR MONEY ! Run from them if you can ! I had to call the police to avoid physical contact ! They do not respond to calls, you cannot book appointment or just walk in in their offices. They lied, their contract (lease) have some clauses against the Code Civil. It is an absurb company that will make you pay every cents for everything ! TO AVOID !

  Worst management, worst people to deal with, very disrespectful, very UNPROFESSIONAL. There are major bed bugs issues in their apartments and they tell you you brought the bugs with your stuff (not that the whole building is polluted!). Their ventilation system is massively dysfunctional, my apartment smelled like cigarettes 24/7 and I don't smoke, imagine having to sleep in your smelly bedroom and you cannot open the windows because it's -20 outside. In addition, the staff on site is highly careless and disrespectful, especially the super whom you have to deal with occasionally. On top of everything, they never fix the small problems you report (windows, handles, etc...). And it takes them forever to fix the big problems, the building had a huge hot water issue during the winter and it took them a whole Montreal winter month to fix it. Unless you have a very good reason to stay in their building (whatever that might be), I strongly recommend that you stay away...
