::I’d like to share my experience living at what will forever be known as Bromley Square (now being re-branded as “First on Tenth”). 1) Skyhigh rent ($1450) for a cramped one bedroom/bathroom apartment that includes old wooden cabinetry and thin walls/insulation (I have the joy of hearing the man in the suite above me pee into his toilet, clear as day). 2) Unannounced entry to make repairs, which are done days to a week later than you’re told, and ONLY once you’ve asked twice (in writing). The man in charge of maintenance is actually very friendly and courteous, my guess is that he is massively overworked. 3) Weekly fire alarms were commonplace (especially on weekends) for the first few months (August to December ‘12), but thankfully have stopped since the winter. 4) Common to see garbage strewn about the hallways, especially near the garbage disposal. What, pick up my own garbage? ***k that, I live in Bromley son! 5) Barely functional water heating. And the lovely kicker is the fact that (I live on the 28th floor) you hear the water pump on the roof of the building 24/7. It emits a distinct on/off every two and a half seconds bass-heavy hum that is IMPOSSIBLE to drown out (last night I tried a fan, earplugs, and covering my ears with both hands ON TOP. Still couldn’t sleep. 5a) I asked the building manager if this noise would ever be fixed, and became abundantly clear that improving the aesthetics of the building takes priority over livability. In fact, it seems to be their only priority. Basically this place is a trap. But, there are positives. 1) Amazing view (mine faces south). The balcony is over half the size of my living room. 2) Amazing location. 3) ....That’s it folks!!! In summary, I expect a LOT more for $1450 a month, but I’m probably because I’m an idiot. I moved into this building from Edmonton, last minute, after getting a job offer here. I cannot ***king wait to get the ***k out, and I CANNOT emphasize that enough.

You treated me as if I was your family not just a tenant and i thank you from the bottom of my heart. Ive only lived here less then a year but this will be my home for years to come. PS Thank you for the new elevators. They look amazing
